Well , I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the clocks I've collected over the years, as a toolmaker by trade, restoring old clocks has been a rewarding hobby. A lot of the mechanisms in a clock were made by hand in the early days, a feat in today's modern manufacturing environment that just can not be duplicated.( The cost factor would far outweigh the cost of the clock). Fine running examples are still quite available on the open market, but fixing a non-running clock brings a greater enjoyment to the hobby, than buying one off the shelf. If you have any questions or comments about clocks or this site, please feel free to Email me using the above or below "links". Also, if you are in the market to buy or fix a clock, please visit my business web site using the link below.
One last word of advice, if your hobby gets frustrating at times, take a break! What do I do for Breaks?
